On the weekend of Trinity Sunday, families across the dioceses took part in the enthronement of the icon of the Holy Family and lighting of the World Meeting of Families in their local church. See the attached album to see some of the settings and some of the families from the Cathedral Parish, Clane Parish, St Conleth’s and Cill Mhuire churches in Newbridge, the Church of St Moling and St Brendans Church in St Mullins, St Clare’s Church in Graiguecullen, Holy Cross Church in Killeshin and St David’s Church in Naas. The icon accompanied parishioners in Carbury at their Mass at Trinity well.
Families will continue to light the candle in our churches in the months ahead as we make our journey to the World Meeting of Families in August 2018.
