New Diocesan Commission for Liturgical Formation
The new Commission met on Wednesday October 4th and launched into its three year term. Bishop Denis Nulty welcomed all members and spoke about the importance of the Commission within the diocese and the support that having such a Commission offers him as Bishop. He commended those who had been part of the previous Commission and thanked them for their work over the past three years. Part of the task of the new Commission is to promote good liturgy throughout the diocese, to provide training and resources for liturgical activity and to organise special liturgical events. Members are looking forward to the work of the year ahead especially in the context of the World Meeting of Families next August.
