JPII Award Completion Workshops
Three gatherings took place around the diocese this October; one in each deanery, Graiguecullen/Killeshin parish centre, Holy Family Secondary school Newbridge and St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise.
The 200 plus JPII participants who are due to complete their Award for 2016/2017 attended a JPII completion workshop with many other young people from their deanery. They reflected on their parish ministry involvement and social awareness activities that they took part in to achieve their bronze, silver, gold or papal cross award while having lots of fun sharing experiences and memories of their Award journey so far.
Many Award Leaders from our schools and parishes attended and helped the young people remember all the fantastic work they have done in their parish and communities over the past year.
