This year sees the introduction of the Grow in Love programme for 6th class and this in-service is designed to help teachers of 5th & 6th classes to become more familiar with the methodology, pedagogy and content of the programme.
RE Coordinators are also welcome to attend these sessions and some may do so in order to bring the material back to their own schools to offer support to their colleagues in the senior classes. This may be particularly helpful in our larger schools where it may not be possible to release multiple classroom teachers to attend the in-service.
Each session will last 90 minutes and teachers are asked to bring their teacher manual with them on the day. The dates and venues can be found here.
