Leighlin Parish
is holding a Mission to coincide with the
“The Lord’s Year of Mercy”,
as named by Pope Francis.
The Mission runs from Sunday 11th to Friday 16th September and will be led by the Redemptorist Missionaries.
The services will be each night from 7.30pm, Sunday, Wednesday & Friday in Leighlinbridge Church and Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in Ballinabranna. Themes will include Faith & Baptism, Healing of Hurts, Justice & Values, Reconciliation & Mercy, Faithful Departed and Community night.
Morning mass will be held each morning Monday to Friday at 7.00am in Leighlinbridge and 9.30am in Ballinabranna. Light breakfast will be available after each morning mass and refreshments will be served each evening after the Mission.
An ecumenical Service for the Sick will take place on Thursday 15th at 11.30am in St Lazerian’s Cathedral, Old Leighlin which will be followed by a light lunch.
A night vigil including Benediction and Exposition will follow the Mission on Thursday night from 8.30pm to 12.00 midnight in Ballinabranna.
